A broadcast client of ours in Washington, D.C., called us out to set up a daylight control solution that would allow for a good shot of the Capitol building. The location is beautiful, and the view is just great. A conventional configuration would have cut the view of the Capitol off at the equivalent of neck high. No good! To tackle this problem, we redesigned their daylight control system to reduce the space taken up by the shade rollers at the top of the window. We basically raised the top of the window so they could get a full shot. Now it looks awesome. All good! Cutting off the capitol at like neck-high. So we redesigned a system for them that reduced the height of our rollers at the top of the window, in essence raising the top of their window for the shot. All good!.
